Project help please?

Mood: Tired

Lol it's the middle of winter, and the ice cream man drove down the street. XDD I really want some ice cream now... o.o;; but I'm to lazy to go and catch him. XD

Anywayyys...

School started again yesterday... The good thing is that I finally get to be in art class, which means I will have more motivation to draw! I'm really excited, we'll be focusing mainly on graphic design. I haven't been in an art class in a long time though, so I'm kind of nervous too.

We also recieved our first project today! We must draw the interior of some room or building using either one point perspective or isometric view. I will be using one point perspective, but I'm not sure what I want to draw! Any suggestions would really help! ???

Hm...complex buildings that are somewhat contemporary are fun...or a Church. 8D But that's just me, y'know...

I like winding staircases, or open-spaced foyers... Overall, good luck with the project!

A staircase is exactly what I was thinking of doing! I wanted to do a marble staircase that you would see in a mansion or ballroom-type setting. But I wasn't sure if that was a good idea. Oh but I really like the church idea too!

Hm... If it helps, stairs are always fun to do...and I don't think it's a bad idea at all! Of course it's going to be work (Trust me, I did it--had to copy this puzzle/maze thing for art class just to prove perspective and yeah) >_<

But when you finish it, it's satisfying to know that...you didn't trip down those stairs

AND NO PROBLEM! Here's to a good school year for the both of us, yah!

i think a corner perspective would look pretty cool. ^^ since you're using one point perspective, i think it should work rather well.

you said you have a choice of a building, did you meant the interior of that as well? or a building, like in itself? =Y if you can use buildings, a corner street always looks really good in one perspective. whatever you do choose to do, hope you have fun with it. :3

A corner perspective is something to consider ^^ And yes we have to draw the interior of a building or a room. I'm just not sure where I want my picture to be set...

I don't know what to tell you, I despise one point perspective drawings ">.<

But if I had to do that I'd probably do my room or my basement or dining room, I spend my time in those 3 places.
